Ayuda is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the rights of immigrants.
Temporary Protected Status for Haitian Citizens
Ayuda is encouraging Haitian citizens who are unable to return to their country due to the recent earthquake to come to our walk-in consultation hours.
Ayuda will prepare and file Temporary Protected Status applications on the spot if eligible clients have all of their documentation. If a client comes without the necessary documentation, Ayuda’s legal staff will schedule a follow-up appointment as soon as possible.
Walk-in consultation hours are from 9:00-11:00 a.m. every Thursday.
Making the Holidays Bright for Families
Ayuda would like to extend our deepest appreciation to DCI Group and the Inter-American Development Bank for making the holidays brighter for our clients and their families this year.
Thanks to their generous support, Ayuda staff was thrilled to be able to provide gifts for over 70 of our clients’ children. Thanks to DCI Group and the Inter-American Development Bank, we were also able to provide food for the holidays to the neediest families we serve including those facing homelessness or the risk of homelessness.
In all of our work, Ayuda seeks to build community and promote the availability of comprehensive services for our families. The goodwill of DCI Group and the Inter-American Development Bank allows us to support struggling immigrant children and families in a way that we otherwise could not during this special time of year.
